Despite their issues I can't see the Chargers not taking the AFC West. Denver has a lot more problems on defense than San Diego does. Do all the people that voted in this poll that the Chargers would not make the playoffs not remember the two previous games the Pats played? San Diego has only won one less game than Denver and they still have eight games to make that up.

I'm remembering this club's special ability to melt under pressure. Something in their chemistry has them operating on a boom or bust mentality. If you have to choose a Head Coach who will find a way to light a fire under his team, I'd take Shanny's glowing red eyes over Norv's bloodhound demeanor.

They are 5-2 now with a back up, there is not that big of a lie in the SOS thing, for if Brady were playing, they'd be an easy 7-0 right now and it would have been a cake walk

The SOS was based entirely on last year's record with the AFCE foes going a combined 12-36. Do you expect anything close to that for the Bills, Jets and Dolphins this year?

Football is a 16 game season.

During our last Super Bowl season where we went 17-2, we were blown out by the hapless Dolphins late in the season.

I gloated over Phins fans. Was I wrong? Seems to me the record is the important thing.
