According to news first broken by Mike Garafolo of FOX Sports, the NFL announced today that Commissioner Roger Goodell will not be in attendance opening night when “newly-freed” Quarterback Tom Brady and the Patriots take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
While fans in New England rejoiced at the news their star quarterback was exonerated, others outside the region voiced their displeasure.
Rob Gronkowski’s been pretty vocal in his support for Tom Brady during the entire DeflateGate debacle, and following the news of Brady’s suspension being nullified, the tight end took to Twitter to celebrate the news,
Protecting the shield and the integrity of the game. How many times have we heard that since January. Apparently that doesn’t hold for the league itself
It sounds like Brady may have much more support from his peers than people might think.
