Patriots quarterback Malik Cunningham hasn’t been seen since the preseason, but it sounds like he’s been quietly making an impact behind the scenes.

With another day under their belt ahead of Sunday’s game in Las Vegas, the team certainly appeared to be in better spirits for the New England Patriots on Wednesday.

Bill Belichick spoke to reporters on Wednesday and confirmed that Mac Jones will indeed be the starter when New England heads to Las Vegas this week ahead of their match-up against the Raiders.

Today marks the beginning of the New England Patriots getting back to work ahead of Sunday’s game in Las Vegas, which is clearly going to be a big one for this football team.

Following Sunday’s report on FoxSports where Henry McKenna cited a quote from someone close to Jones where he’s frustrated by the lack of weapons, Jones denied that during his Weekly appearance on Jones and Mego with Arcand on Monday.

Obviously, it’s been a rough couple of weeks for New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, who it appears has seen some of his recent troubles extend onto the practice field.

If Bill Belichick has any hope of salvaging the 2023 season, it’s going to require somewhat of a miracle on his offensive line in order for them to have any chance of turning things around.

Given that whatever changes the New England Patriots will need to make this week to “start all over” will likely need to transpire on offense, this is certainly not the greatest week for that to happen.

Listening to Bill Belichick and the players after Sunday’s game it was hard not to come away with one thing from all of them. They know they have a problem.  But they also have no idea how to fix it.

Right now, the Patriots are a bad team. In terms of Patriot history, those of us with long perspectives are starting to get bad flashbacks.

I don’t know about you, but I was depressed while trying to watch this debacle.  The Patriots can’t do anything right.  Mac Jones is done as a starting QB.
