Both Judon and Gonzalez Out ‘Indefinitely’ Following Injuries on Sunday

Monday saw the New England Patriots undergo further evaluations on Matthew Judon and Christian Gonzalez, who each suffered injuries during Sunday’s game in Dallas.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it sounds like the timetable for both is still uncertain, with Schefter reporting that the two will be out “indefinitely” due to their respective ailments.
Judon reportedly suffered a torn tendon in his biceps, with the veteran suffering the injury while making a tackle on running back Deuce Vaughn early in the fourth quarter.
Replays showed that Judon’s arm got hyper-extended after it got caught behind him as he attempted to make the tackle.
Following the play, the veteran linebacker was in serious pain as he left the field, and it sounds like, unfortunately, it may be a while before we see his red sleeves again in New England’s defense.
As for Gonzalez, he suffered a reported shoulder injury following a tackle he made in the first quarter against running back Tony Pollard. On the play, Gonzalez went low as Pollard ran out wide and his shoulder absorbed the brunt of the contact.
He left the game and didn’t return, and was later seen by Mike Reiss of ESPN with his arm wrapped against his body underneath his jacket following the game.
As a result, his status is up in the air, and following today’s report, it sounds like it will potentially be some time before either player returns to New England’s defense.
