Can New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye make the jump in his 2nd year to be a quality NFL QB?  Does Maye regress and doesn’t improve his high turnover rate?  A lot is being put on Maye’s plate. 

One of the more interesting storylines this offseason has been what has been going on in San Francisco prior to the report of the 49ers finally getting an extension done with Brock Purdy.

The Patriots have a very favorable schedule which is the 3rd best schedule based upon last year’s winning percentage Strength of Schedule (SOS).  The last two 4-13 seasons, the Patriots have had the worst SOS going into the seasons, which attributed to their overall record.

One key loss the New England Patriots endured during last season was the loss of defensive tackle, Christian Barmore, who was diagnosed with blood clots last summer ahead of the season.

The league unveiled the full 2025 NFL Schedule Wednesday night, which will see a slate of games that, for the most part, favors Mike Vrabel’s football team.

Mike Vrabel didn’t allude to any changes within New England’s front office following what was largely considered to be a solid crop from their 2025 Patriots Draft picks, but it appears they’re about to lose one significant name.

I’ll give you 6 players, three on Offense and three on Defense that are on the Hot  Seat heading into Training Camp.  There is still plenty of time (approx. 71 days to the start of Training Camp) to make changes to the roster.

Everyone remembers being on the edge of their seat during New England’s 28-3 historic Super Bowl comeback win by the Patriots over the Falcons to cap off the 2016 season, but there’s a new wrinkle that makes it even more amazing.

When it comes to the wide receiver position, it’s probably safe to say that Kyle Williams’ development this offseason is going to play a key role in New England’s success in 2025.

Hall of Fame left tackle Joe Thomas said, “Will Campbell will be a great Patriot.” He thinks the arm length thing is ridiculous.

As if the Patriots roster hasn’t already seen enough turnover, this upcoming season could be the final year for quite a few others, while some additional names may not even make it past training camp.

I have been holding onto this thought until after the draft.  Dugger struggles in coverage when he sets up at Free Safety. 

The Patriots Front Office (Eliot Wolf, Alonzo Highsmith, Ryan Cowden, Cam Williams and Matt Groh) deserves credit and some criticism over what everyone is calling it a “knock it out of the park” draft.

The Patriots moved down and up and down again in a busy 7 hours of the final day of the draft.  Selecting a Safety with their 1st pick on Day Three was not what any Patriots fan expected. 

“Yeah, I mean, that’s my quarterback,” Campbell said when asked about Maye. “So, I’m just super excited to build the relationship with him.”

The Patriots switched gears and added some depth at left tackle on Saturday, snagging Missouri’s Marcus Bryant on Saturday.

After a season where things were inconsistent at kicker for the New England Patriots in 2024, the team addressed that need in the sixth round on Saturday.

The New England Patriots targeted another defensive player on Sunday, with the club selecting its third-straight prospect with their third-selection of the afternoon.
