The following 10 players have been reported as signed by the Patriots to UDFA contracts.

Dell Pettus, S – Troy

Measurables: 6’ 205 lbs 4.51 40

From NFL Draftbuzz

Pettus has been a starter all 5 years at Troy logging over 3268 snaps in his career.

Great on route recognition and has click-and-close ability

Shows good awareness, following the eyes of the quarterback and breaking on the ball with excellent quickness and aggression.

Flashes intimidating attitude and will crush tiptoeing receivers across the middle.

Transitions well from coverage to close on the ball. Strong hands, quick reactions for the interceptions.

Pettus has good size and is a fluid mover, capable of mirroring quickness underneath

Good hustle player who puts himself in the action when he’s not directly involved. Knows how to use his height and vertical leap.

Charles Turner, C – LSU

Measurables: 6’4” 303 lbs 5.00 40

He’ll appeal to man-blocking teams, and he’s a fairly high-upside developmental pick when considering his value in the run game.  Started 24 games for LSU in the SEC.

Exhibits good patience in pass protection, sitting back in his set rather than leaning and lunging.

Plays with natural leverage and has the strength to anchor against the bull rush. Turner also packs a violent initial punch that can stand up pass rushers.

Shows a good feel for combo blocks, and Turner displays good quickness and flexibility when moving to the second level, capable of sealing the back side on reach blocks

In the run game, he explodes off the line of scrimmage and consistently gets out to the second level to do damage.

Finds defenders with his hands immediately and gets feet moving to engage and sustain.

Only gave up 4 sacks (3 in 2022 and 1 in 2023) in those 24 starts

Mikey Victor,  CB – Alabama State

Measurables: 6’2” 205 Lbs 4.67 40, 6.82 3 Cone

Victor led the SWAC and ranked second in the FCS with 1.7 passes defended per game. He finished with 36 tackles and led the SWAC with 15 passes defended, 13 passes deflections and two interceptions in 2023.  Transfer from UNLV,

John Morgan, Edge – Arkansas

Measurables: 6’2” 252 Lbs, 4.7 40

He’s ready for the physicality of the NFL; Morgan has a stout build, strong core and powerful limbs to step in right away as a three-down player.

Morgan displays good lateral movement skills, capable of working his way down the line with decent range when chasing in pursuit.

He has an excellent feel for working off blockers and knowing how and when to counter as the play goes on.

His closing burst is outstanding, and he routinely finished plays last year. He has range and toughness as a run defender, capable of dropping anchor to set the edge and showing the acceleration to chase down the backside in pursuit.

He has an excellent motor and shows the stamina to last deep into the fourth quarter.

Morgan flashes the ability to shoot gaps as well, and he is a threat to line up inside on passing downs.

He had 14 sacks over his 4 years in college (3 at Pittsburgh and 1 at Arkansas)

Zuri Henry, DT – UTEP

Measurables: 6’ 6” 310 Lbs 5.15 40 26 BP

Over 50 career Games Played with 30 starts between Left and Right Tackle.

DeShaun Fenwick, RB – Oregon State

Measurables: 6’ 1” 223 Lbs 4.67 40

Six-year career split evenly between South Carolina and Oregon State.  He was never the featured back all 6 years but rushed for over 1500 yards and a 5.3 average in his 3 years at Oregon State.

Kaleb Ford-Dement, CB – Texas State

Measurables: 5’11” 176 4.5 40, 6.80 3 cone

Ford-Dement has spent 7 seasons in college ball (2 years at Kilgore, 2 years at Old Dominion, 2 years at Washington State and finally his last year at Texas State).

Jacob Warren, TE – Tennessee

Measurables: 6’6” 253 lbs 4.94 40

He was Joe Milton’s TE for the Volunteers.  A three-year starter, Warren played 54 games as a Volunteer and caught 53 passes for 607 yards and eight touchdowns. However, the 6-foot-6, 251-pounder did most of his work as a blocker.  Six-year player who has already turned 24.

Jontrey Hunter, LB – Georgia State

Measurables: 6’2” 232 Lbs 4.94 40

Hunter is a six-year athlete all at Georgia State with 52 career games and 22 starts.  He played ILB this season with 93 Tackles.  He received an invite and played in the East West Shrine game and then played in the Senior Bowl a couple of days later.  Hunter received an invite to the combine but just did Interviews and physicals, no workouts.  He ran the 4.94 40 at his Pro Day.

Jett Bush,  LB – Texas

Measurables: 6’1” 240 4.66 40

He saw action in 58 games over his career but only started 6.  The remainder were spent on Special Teams.

There is room for one more signing, but you should hear of additional players brought in to rookie camp as camp invitees.  That is how Malcolm Butler made the team.  He was invited and the Patriots cut one of the UDFAs they just signed to sign Butler.
