The New England Patriots released an all-new episode of their NFL journey mini-documentary series.
In this episode, the team profiles defensive tackle Davon Godchaux and his path to the Patriots dating back to his days growing up in Louisiana and playing for LSU.
In 2017, Godchaux was drafted in the fifth round by the Miami Dolphins. He played his first four NFL seasons in South Florida before joining the Patriots in 2021.
During his first season in Foxboro, Godchaux played over 59 percent of the defensive snaps, registering 17 quarterback pressures and 25 run stops, per Pro Football Focus. The 25 stops were second on the team, trailing only veteran Lawrence Guy.
For his efforts, Godchaux inked a two-year contract extension back in July.
