Check your streaming subscriptions Patriots fans because another documentary chronicling your team’s unprecedented 20-year run of championship success is coming soon.
According to a report from Deadline, the streaming service Apple TV+ has ordered a 10 part series that will be simply called The Dynasty.Â
The project from Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Documentaries, in a collaboration with NFL Films, is based on Jeff Benedict’s nonfiction bestselling book of the same name, in which the author spent two years inside the organization and covered its NFL dominance.
Additionally, Deadline reports the documentary will be directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Matthew Hamachek and will feature “thousands of hours of never-before-seen video footage and audio files from the Patriots organization’s archive”.
The filmmakers were also given access to the organization throughout the 2021 season, its second without Tom Brady, and will include interviews with past and present Patriots players, coaches, and executives, along with league officials and even the Patriots archrivals.
A release date has not been announced by Apple.
