On Instagram Wednesday, New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman shared another photograph with his four-year old daughter Lily as they were picking out pumpkins at presumably a local Massachusetts farm.

“Different kind of pumpkin carriage for my princess 🎃👑 #GirlDad“, Edelman wrote in an accompanying caption.

As for his performance on the football field, Edelman along with the Patriots have had a rough go at it since quarterback Cam Newton recovered from COVID-19.

In the last two games together, Edelman has just three catches from Newton for 21 yards in nine targets.

“Our Wi-Fi is definitely off,” Newton said regarding his lack of production with Edelman after Sunday’s loss.

“And it’s frustrating because knowing the person Julian is and knowing the body of work that he puts in each and every week and day and from preparation to biometrically with his body, you fall in love with a person like that. And with me, I just want to win. I just want to find a way to win. And here of late, that hasn’t been the case.”

Despite the recent setbacks at work, Edelman’s posting serves as another reminder that family will always come first, then football.
