Cornerback Asante Samuel spent the first five of his 11 professional seasons with the New England Patriots, helping the team reach three Super Bowls and winning two, its his antics however that are the focal point of this story.
On Twitter Tuesday, Samuel was all about storytelling from his time in the Patriots locker room.
Samuel shared a “fun fact” that he used to gamble everyday and his favorite game was dominoes, much to the disappointment of head coach Bill Belichick, who hated the gambling so much he took a domino, forcing an end to the game.
Fun fact: I use to gamble everyday when I played for the Patriots. Dominos was my main game I would run to the table after practice and sit there waiting for someone to play. Belichick hated it one day I came in getting ready to play and a domino was missing. I was like

Samuel didn’t stop there, he also shared two random stories about wide receiver Reche Caldwell in 2006 and what he used to do in the locker room.
Anyone remember Reche Caldwell? We turned the looker room into and Flea Market slash gambling hall. He use to be selling fake Nike’s he ordered from China lol. Everybody use to buy them. We wait until the end of the week to see who made the most money. I nicknamed him Easy Chesse

Since his brief Patriots tenure, Caldwell has been out of the NFL battling legal problems.
Caldwell served time in prison and is in legal trouble once again for his involvement in defrauding a health care program for retired players.
It was an odd selection of stories from Samuel, but you just never know what you’ll learn over social media.
