One of the greatest parts to the Super Bowl most people miss out on is the local, hometown, radio stations calling the game. While Joe Buck and Troy Aikman handled the national television broadcast on FOX, Atlanta’s 92.9 The Game’s Wes Durham and Dave Archer along with Boston’s 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Bob Socci and Scott Zolak all provided different and unique perspectives on the wild game that was Super Bowl LI.
For Socci, it became the second Super Bowl he’s called during just his fourth full season with the team.
The NFL posted the following video containing the key moments and plays from Sunday’s game, but from the perspective of the radio feeds from each team and the joy and sadness that followed.
