The latest post on Tom Brady’s Facebook page celebrates a happy TB12 – and some sad 1849ers – in the aftermath of the New England Patriots 30-17 victory over San Francisco.

The 8-2 Patriots face the Jets next week.

Brady spread the ball around to all of his offensive weapons to confound the Niners, connecting on 24 pass attempts and four touchdowns. Malcolm Mitchell caught four passes on five targets for 98 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown reception. LeGarrette Blount rushed for 124 yards on 19 carries and James White caught all six passes thrown his way for 63 yards and a TD.

In a heavy downpour the Patriots only led by 13-10 at the half, but outscored San Fran 17-7 in the second half. The Patriots sacked Colin Kaepernick five times and limited the maligned quarterback to just 53% completions. The Pats forced the Niners to punt eight times, including six consecutive possessions from the end of the first half until a garbage time score with two minutes left to play.

Next week the Patriots travel to New Jersey to take on the Jets in a late Sunday afternoon game.
