REPORT: Chandler Jones Hospitalized Sunday, Sought Medical Attention at Police Department

Scary news on Tuesday night following a report from the Boston Herald involving one of New England’s dynamic defensive players.
According to the Herald, defensive end Chandler Jones was rushed to Norwood Hospital Sunday morning, which happened after he first arrived at the Foxboro Police Department with an apparent medical emergency. Jones lives approximately a block from the station.
The Herald found through dispatch records that the former first round pick out of Syracuse arrived at the station at 7:42am with a medical emergency and was evaluated for medical reasons there before he was transported to the local hospital.
An officer was reportedly sent to Jones’ home to “secure the residence”.
There’s no further information regarding the reason, with the team having little to say after issuing a statement to the newspaper that read, “Chandler Jones was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and released that day. He reported to work on time Monday morning and has participated in all meetings and practices since then.”
The Patriots are currently preparing to take on the Chiefs this Saturday at Gillette Stadium in the AFC Divisional round of the postseason..
