Many New England Patriots fans were hoping for a blowout in the dubbed “Revenge Bowl” against the rival Indianapolis Colts on Sunday night. What they were treated to instead was a back and forth competitive affair that contained one of the more bizarre and comical plays of recent memory, “The Pagano” or “ClusterChuck” failed faked punt as many fans on social media called it.
Check out below some of the more funny reactions and parodies on social media following the Colts embarrassing play.
One creative fan created an old school “Techmo Bowl” parody.
And one fan did a film parody involving the film “The Longest Yard” but with a different end result.
Kanye West how do you feel about that play?
This was the worst play in NFL history. https://t.co/l3jimVGQXf

And the sports media members were equally as confused what was occurring in front of them.
What radio network did the #Colts have in their headsets during the fake punt?

When the Colts motioned for the fake punt, Belichick walked up behind the line of scrimmage, hands on hips, and just watched. Emotionless.

The Patriots didn't embarrass the Colts, as so many thought they would. The Colts embarrassed themselves w/ dumbest trick play ever.

Unfortunately for the Colts, the play will overshadow an otherwise great game and maybe even the rest of Head Coach Chuck Pagano’s career.
