New England Patriots place kicker Adam Vinatieri will be appearing on Wednesday night on the David Letterman Show which will air on CBS at 11:30pm ET.
Vinatieri kicked the game winning field goal which lifted the Patriots to a 20-17 victory over the St. Louis Rams in Superbowl XXXVI on Sunday, and also helped lift them to an overtime victory two weeks earlier against the Oakland Raiders.
Down 13-10 late in the game, Vinatieri kicked a 45-yard field goal off of 4-inches of snow near the end of regulation to knot the score at 13-13 and sent the game into overtime. He later kicked a 23-yard field goal to win the game and it helped his team advance to the AFC Championship against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
