I’m bummed no one brought up the 82 yard TD to Troy Brown in overtime in 2003 at Miami to break the curse, and it completely changed our season and started the record breaking streak. We hadn’t won in Miami since 97.
A perfect long spiral to brown who was double covered
Quite frankly, those weren’t any of my personal favorite passes. Also, I thought it was cheating since I already listed in my intro, because it would’ve been the ‘03 MIA OT or the 4th SB 36 pass to get NE in field goal range. Lastly, the ones I listed were game/ SB winners that required supreme touch under immense pressure. Just my opinion, but I see what you mean. How is it possible that you do not have one single Troy Brown pass on that list???????????????????????????????????????
Not to bump an old-ish thread....but I will
Forgot where I saw the video (youtube somewhere) but I guess on Brady's weekly call in show with EEI Greg Hill asked him about his best throws.
I only remember a handful of reactions, but
1. When asked about the throw to Tompkins to win it against NO, he said something to the effect of "that wasn't a good throw, that was bad defense".
2. On the winner to LaFell against BAL in 2014 it was "mehhhh".
3. The 73 yarder to Troy in OT in MIA was "a great throw. Definitely in the top 10"
4. 4th and 12 to Gronk in the AFCCG
5. He liked the scramble-toss-TD to Tate against the Vikings.
6. A 7 yarder from his ass to Patrick Pass against CIN.
and the Best one he NEVER threw was the 2 Point conversion to Gronk in Denver4th down to Gronk in the 2015 AFCCG vs DEN
