Samuel update
Cornerback Asante Samuel spoke with Adam Schefter of the NFL Network and updated the status of his contract talks with the Patriots.
“This is to let everybody know that I’m not happy anymore and things are not going well,” Samuel told Schefter. “At first I thought it was going well, but it’s not.
“We have a difference of opinion in my value. They think I’m worth one price and the other teams think I’m worth a lot more. If a long-term deal can’t be done at fair numbers for me and New England, then I want to be traded.”

Oh boy! There may be a possiblity that the Pats end up with three first round picks.
i'd rather have a happy asante under a long term deal than another mid-late 1st rounder.
The problem with winning a lot of games every year is that your players look good to other teams. You can pay some guys, but some teams are just willing to pay a lot of money to get what they think is "the final piece."this sucks, seems like we go throught something like this every year
Nah, I'd rather have Thomas, Stallworth, Washington, Welker, Morris and Brady than Asante. Good as he is, he won't make the difference that all those guys will make.maybe instead of going and signing all of these free agents we should of taken care of our own 1st
