Poking through team rosters, it occurred to me that the Patriots have the lowest-drafted quarterback lineup in the NFL--and the contest isn't close. All 31 other teams have at least one day-one QB on the roster. Most have a couple of them.
Unearthing Brady and Cassel at the end of the draft has to be considered luck as well as skill (cf. Davey, Rohan and Kingsbury, Kliff). But the impact on the total roster is tremendous. That's how you end up with three day-one tight ends and an entire defensive line of #1 picks.
