everyone’s opinion of Case Keemun and the Vikings chances aside, fact is, the Vikings are the #2 seed in the NFC.
Obviously, the NFL is in an unprecedented situation. Never before has a team that is hosting the super bowl made the big game themselves.
Let’s just say for argument sake that the...
How is it that the patriots have so many key players that have what is perceived to be "below value" contracts:
Brady
Gronk
Blount
Edelman
Hogan
Butler (rookie contract)
Hightower (rookie contact)
And so forth.
I am not trying to make this into a Jamie Collins/chandler jones thread. If the...
One fact I do find interesting is that Brady will most likely never play the cardinals at their current university of Phoenix stadium, even though he is 1-1 in that stadium vs other teams. Last time they played AZ on the road was in 04 and they were still at sun devil stadium. Next time they...
That's a winner. The two answers to the question are SF and Tampa. Barring injurie, San Fran will get checked off in November, and Tampa will get checked off next season in 2017, as the pats will finally play a game a Raymond James stadium
You got SF right. During the TB era, We have only played them in SF once, and it was in 2008 when Cassel started due to Brady's knee being torn. The Rams is not who i was thinking of even with the move to LA. TB played them in STL in 2004 if I recall.
As of August 2016, tom Brady has played against 29 out of a possible 31 NFL teams as a member of the away team (i.e. Patriots were the away team).
Without cheating and looking it up on google, who are the two teams that tom has yet to play a true away game against?
- one of the answers is...
Just bought a couple tix for Pats/Jets at MetLife on November 27 in prime time. Beyond pumped up.
Ironically will be the 3rd straight season with a November trip to MetLife. Last year, I went to the pats/Giants game November 15. In 2014, I went to the 49ers@giants (9ers won 19-14).
Although...
After the 2009 season they switched the pairings of teams for both the NFC west and AFC west. The Patriots and jets were ironically one of the main reasons for this change. In the 2008 season, the AFC East played both the NFC WEST and the AFC west. Till this day, All the other 6 divisions that...
TNF games are usually within the division for the most part. Doubt we play cincy there. I think our TNF game will be vs Buffalo as they are the only division opponent we haven't faced on Thursday
@arizona would likely be on CBS
That is what this team needs (other than o line). When white/Lewis are in, it's an obvious pass. When Blount/Jackson are in its obvious run. This offense becomes two predictable.
While an all pro like le'veon bell would be nice, they don't even need a player THAT good, I just feel like they...
I respect both Carolina and Arizona as they are both elite teams and either one would be a difficult matchup in the SB for the pats. However, I would definately prefer to play Arizona just for the fact of how we play defense vs non-mobile QBs. I hate the way we play defense vs mobile...
Terry McCauley did the Broncos Seahawks SB two years ago so it's highly unlikely he'd get it again so soon. As you said, wrolstad is ineligible as he hasn't been a ref long enough. I think it will be blakeman, who was the ref in the Carolina- patriots regular season game two years ago that ended...
I wouldn't put too much stock into that. Every time there is a controversial call in any game, football zebras on Twitter will defend the ref and always argue that the ref crew handled it correctly. They are biased. They usually hit the nail on the head when it comes to referee assignments...
Per FootballZebras, AFCCG referee likely to be good ole Ed Hochuli
Hochuli and Vinovich likely Conference Championship referees | Football Zebras
"Based on the assignment of Hochuli and Vinovich to an NFC and AFC divisional game respectively, it is believed that the championship game...
A suspension is definately way over the top, but I'm in the minority in believing that the penalty on the play was justified. It was an unnessessary hit by DA
I agree. I would have no problem if they played gronk and Brady AND they were trying to win the game. It's obvious they didn't put any effort into that game plan, so why not just rest them
