    MNF: Eagles vs Redskins

Yeah, the Eagles are rockin'. To bad about the call on the Skin's TD. I think it was a bad call, but stuff happens.

    Belichick relaxes in the off-season

BB, and Brady for that matter, are close to being able to set NFL records that may never be broken. Why not go for it?

If you thought NFL teams paid alot...

Correct. It's a way to help expand the fan base...which means more money. Those guys are not the Salvation Army. It's all about the money.

If you thought NFL teams paid alot...

Regardless, it's hard to argue against trying to get 3 billion sports fans. It must have some value. Call me crazy but I think American football is the best spectator sport on the planet. If sports fans are exposed to Am. football, how can they not like it?

If you thought NFL teams paid alot...

Haha, you've got that right. For the sake of the discussion though, London is Europe's NY City...Europe's media center. Get a toe hold in London and go from there seems to be the NFL strategy. Fwiw the NFL has pissed China (a big part of Asia) off so cracking that egg is unlikely at...

If you thought NFL teams paid alot...

The NFL draws a fraction of the fans soccer does. There's a reason the NFL wants to go international. Most Frequently Cited Ranked Lists 1) Football: 3.3-3.5 billion fans (Europe, Africa, Asia, Americas, etc.) 2) Cricket: 2-3 billion fans (India, UK, Pakistan, Asia, Australia, etc.)...

    Tebow released

Hahaha, talk about obsessive. Keep on beatin'. :deadhorse2:<Tim The circle of beaters around the horse is particularly telling. By all means, rock on. The intellectual prowess of the beaters is staggering. The word Jerks comes to mind. (How am I doin' Demos? :) )
  8. R

    Tebow released

Ok, not your advice...your appraisal. Regardless, Tim believing your appraisal of him over his own appraisal of himself would clearly be a mistake. Valued appraisals are void of biases. Refer to the highlighted portion of the quote: I'm sorry to be talking above your capacity to...

    Tebow released

I suppose Elway wished Tim would take your type of advise. Had that happened the Broncs could/would have gotten Luck, saved a bunch of money, and possibly made the playoffs like the Colts did. It's probably best if Tim follows his own council and ignores people that clearly have a...

    Tebow released

Where Tim can go has nothing to do with his chosen career. But you know that don't you? (Rhetorical question). Or at least, you should. However, thanks for your opinion. It's duly noted. (Demos, am I doing better?)
  11. R

    Tebow released

@Demos I guess I need to step up my game. I wasn't able to draw any of the most childish ('sorry Charlie'...my term of endearment for your message leaver) people out and get such a message. :)
  12. R

    Tebow released

I hope I'm included in your "etc.". Regardless, thanks for your hospitality. It's a pleasure to join discussions that have a minimum of participants that seem more interested in disparaging others and being disruptive than having reasonably respectful exchanges of opinions and ideas (mixed...

    Tebow released

Maybe that's an indication of the intellectual prowess of the picture poster. I was thinking that posting that pic was a little tacky (I'm being nice).
  14. R

    Tebow released

I think you are on to something. The roster slot is a good argument. It's not like a #3 QB would see the field during games this season anyway and roster spots on the Pats are premium. As far as someone picking Tim up assumes Tim would go, regardless of Tim's tape being good or bad. It's...

Countdown to 53, Updated Patriots Roster Bubble List

From the article: That's good to know. Since that's the case, it may be somewhat telling if Tim makes the cut.

    Quentin Sims

What WR in there right mind won't want to be a part of the BB/TB SB machine given the chance, even an outside one? Ya can't buy bragging rights for any amount of money...which may be part of the reason Tim's pay is not an issue imo. It's not like Tim would need a job if he gets cut.

Has Tim Tebow earned a roster spot on the Patriots?

I don't mean to bring up bad memories but I'm stirring the pot anyway. One thing that may be overlooked in Tim's regard are Tim's skills and experience with Ahern type TEs. Notice the source of this TE's footballs. (video) In so far as the reason that 31 teams passed on Tim, as is most...

Has Tim Tebow earned a roster spot on the Patriots?

Ha, I get your point. I've got an excuse...I live in the shadow of The Swamp and the Gator Nation pervs on Gators in the NFL. Demos on the other hand... However, a guy named Herschel Walker did get my attention.

Has Tim Tebow earned a roster spot on the Patriots?

In this linked vid of Tim's last toss, between the 25th and 26th second, the camera was in a full BB face shot so his facial expressions are clear. We I first saw it I thought I saw an interesting BB facial expression and reran that section of the vid a few times to get a clear look at what...

Has Tim Tebow earned a roster spot on the Patriots?

Or a disgruntled Pats fan Tim detractor that is trying to punk this board and its member into rebelling against Pats/Tim fans...all of which aren't necessarily new members.
