Brady Unretiring

Meh, I'd still rather watch Brady take home another Lombardi than 30 other teams, but this is getting obnoxious. One of the best parts of early career Tom Brady was he was 100% football player and no other prima donna nonsense. His last few years here were such a soap opera that I couldn't even enjoy the games anymore. Love the player, hate the drama.

I thought that thread was retired :)
It can be "un"retired... been all the rage since the days of Tampa "Im not Brett Favre ... Or Am I? Muhahahahah" Brady

... huh? Why did he bother with the whole retirement schtick then? That was seriously like one month ago. Please don't become the next Favre, Tom...
I feel the same way

Wish he’d stayed retired.

If this is what he wants, good for him. I still think the Bucs take a significant step back, but it won‘t be the rebuild year it would have been without Brady. But I think they will lose a half dozen or so starters this offseason.

Brady’s becoming a attention addict.
Yea, it’s been a month since everyone has been talking about him.
So he picks the day that NCAA Brackets are released, literally almost at the same time. In fact Tirico stopped talking college basketball to focus on TB.
I know he’s the GOAT and I have the upmost respect for what he did for the Patriot franchise, but why not do it on a day without big sports news coming out?

But remember everyone, the Bucs are in "cap hell" because of going all-in with Brady while the Pats will be able to revamp their flawed roster this offseason with a QB on a rookie contract

there ya go Disco... happy trails, dont let the door hit ya where the good lord split ya... talk all the brady/bucks stuff you want without having to worry about the poor pats roster and its rookie qb... you'll be happier there... we'll be happier here...

At least Brady didn’t have Ariens, Licht, and ESPN fly down to his house and beg him to come back like Favre did with Green Bay.

Bucs obviously wouldn't let him go play in Miami or wherever… he has no other choice.

Unless the Saints can figure out how to get Deshaun Watson that division is absolutely putrid. It’s what the the rest of the AFC East was during Brady’s time here at its low point. No reason they won’t win the division and get a home playoff game and then who knows?

It's too late. He's already there. :yuck:
:yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck:

Well hopefully this keeps Gronk out of Buffalo
Probably why Brady announced the day before free agency starts. Any informal agreement Gronk may have had with someone else will probably now be on hold.

Sure they can still win the division, but they will likely be the 3rd or 4th seed and may not even get past the division round. But if the Panthers or Saints get Watson, winning the division isn’t all that guaranteed either.

The Bucs could lose half their starting secondary, their starting OLB, and 2/3 their starting defensive line. And they are all but assured to lose their center. And bringing Gronk and Fornette back aren’t guaranteed either.

Brady realized he had done New England a disservice with his retirement announcement and he wants the chance for a do over.

Nah, he tried to rook the system to go play for Miami or 49ers, but the Bucs weren’t going to play along. He had no choice, play for Tampa or nobody.
