Dominant 3-4 DL, incredible quickness for someone his size.

Well-deserved. DL still matters, but it mattered much more back then.
For a few years he was the best in the NFL. So versatile. So freakin quick.34 de,43 dt, nt.
Passrusher, runstopper could do it all.
Pats had some really good defensive players in that 1st dynasty but he was the best.

The thing that stood out to me from his rookie year was I have never seen a DL hustle more than he did. No matter where the play went he ran to it. I saw him involved in tackles 10-15 yards downfield on pass plays that had rac

He was the only choice. Time for him to be voted into Canton, too.

#93 was a force to be reckoned with, remember the Jacksonville game in '03 it was an incredibly cold day.. Seymour had returned a day late from the funeral of his grandfather, and BB with his consistent philosophy "no one person is bigger than the team" held him out for the 1st quarter.

When he came in the 2nd quarter, he dominated the game as well as anyone.. David Garrard wast the QB and he made life incredibly difficult for him, a continual disruption.

Seymour was a greater player than most folks gave him credit for, often he was criticized by the print and sportstalk media for not "showing up" or not having credit in the box score, then midweek BB would ascend to the podium and tell us what a dominant player he was..

Seymour is very deserving of this honor..

Dude was on the Hall of Fame's 1st Team All-2000s. Zero question about if he deserved it.
