It's so freaking stupid. The draft haters are like kids on X-mas morning that get everything they want except one toy and spend the rest of the day asking mom and dad for the toy on their birthday.

If BB sucked at evaluating, drafting/signing and developing talent they would not have won 6 Super Bowls. That is an irrefutable fact.

Have they missed on picks and FAs? Of course but the body of work over 20 years tells is a ****load of great/good talent has come through this org.

he drafted very well 2010-2013. He hasn’t drafted well since. Now all those pro bowl talents are old and Brady is gone. We’re left with this team

More tired than the Pats' efforts to draft a WR???? No possible way.
Yet you remain clueless to acknowledge why the are 32nd in drafting WRs the last ten years and your troll response is, "They suck at it"...Right. Greatest evaluator of talent sucks at drafting WRs.

Wrong. Compare BB to rest of the league.

A lot of them. He nailed the drafts 2010-2013. Trading up for chandler and Hightower in the same draft was an amazing move.

I think he has botched the draft the past 5 years. I think he’s pathetic at drafting wide receivers.

Some of my favorite draft picks at the time

Chandler Jones
Donta Hightower
Aaron Hernandez
Marcus Cannon
Shaq Mason
Richard Seymour
Ty Warren
Trey Flowers

Belichick has proven me wrong ..

I didn’t like the following picks

Devin McCourty
Logan Ryan
Steven Ridley
Isiah Wynn
Logan Mankins
Greatest evaluator of developer of talent in NFL history sucks at drafting receivers....

Right.

7 Rounds to get one right. They haven't done it in two decades. Yes, BB sucks at drafting WRs. That has been proven at this point.

I don't think Tom moving on will put more pressure on BB to work harder but I do think Bill MIGHT have a bit more of a spring in his step working with a raw QB who he can teach, mentor, gameplan with as opposed to a 43 year old QB who has seen everything AND was a bit grouchy and sometimes sullen.

He didn't want to be there and he knows he's declining physically and mentally, however slight that decline has been (it's amazing he's put it off this long). Plus, the imbalance between Brady's knowledge and the receivers' knowledge (aside from JE) was so great that it paradoxically made it harder than if Brady has much less knowledge.

You are wrong. Nothing has been proven.

I was just debunking your claim that it wasn't measurably significant.

You are not debunking anything. Your claims are certainly no fact when speed differs by way more than those 0.04 sec between different replicated runs. We are not talking a difference of one standard deviation here. Those two times are literally a rounding error away from each other and are for all intents and purposes describe the same tier of speed.

It's also a sample of one, there's some uncertainty in it. There's no measurement error with the lasers anymore but I would probably consider anyone within five hundredths of a second to be statistically indistinguishable. A 4.4 to a 4.6 to a 4.8 is a big leap, a 4.48 to a 4.52 doesn't mean much.

I didn't even want to get into replicates and measuring error. Even without introducing those aspects it is laughable to me to argue over 0.04 seconds.

Bingo

If we give it another two decades, will it be proven then?
You tell me. Whats more proven? 17 WR picks in 20 years with all but 14 coming after the 3rd round (which has a 70% or greater failure rate) or Bill the greatest identifier and developer of talent in NFL history.

Thats ~260 picks....only 17 spent on WRs.

Again, you clearly have no idea what BB's team -building philosophy is.

Greatest coach/GM in history and he sucks....ignorant.

If don't find it the slightest bit odd that you are promoting the value in having "less knowledge". Fitting.
Think about what he wrote longer than 3 seconds....try real hard.

In other words, 0 quality WRs drafted (outside of a QB convert) in 2 decades.

Chad Jackson over Greg Jennings
Aaron Dobson over Keenan Allen
NKeal Harry over AJ Brown

Taylor Price
Josh Boyce
Brandon Tate

I mean, those are pretty much all the wide receivers (plus Malcolm Mitchell, conspicuously absent even though he played a major role in a Super Bowl victory) they've drafted in the last decade or more in the first four rounds. I have to imagine most other teams have drafted twice as many, at least, and missed on just as many.

You place value in ignorance...you confirmed this with your brilliant reply of "Bingo". No worries, we all value different things.

No I place value in knowledge and insight....which you possess none of.

0 quality WRs in 20 years statement shows you are a) trolling or b) clueless.

18 years....nearly 2 decades. Sure you can count a single year of Mitchell, but I omit him because everybody knew of his bad knees. 18 years of futility when it comes to drafting WRs.
