He did show open hostility to Jackson and Mangini.

It's his life. He can pick and choose how he treats people as he wants.

Still waiting for the punishment to come down. With BB having so many draft choices in 2020, wouldn't be surprised if Goodell took #1 plus all compensatory picks. I think that would leave us 5 or 6 picks with the highest being at the end of the third round.

I wonder how NFL Films documentaries would look with no camera angles that could be taken from some nonsensically forbidden taping location. Better yet, for this particular story, I wonder whether Cinci has any somewhat parallel marketing department to film the ongoing Bungles Story... Eff it, somebody buy a copy of everything Cinci ever put on tape for public consumption, compare w/the rulebook, and start sending open letters to the league office and every celeb pats fan site you can find. (you can try the actual media, but I'm not sure there's any appetite for the Little Hypocrite Who Couldn't story line.)

Based on reports this morning maybe there’s nothing to the report about the penalties and the league has barely started in its investigation- if it has even started at all.

Maybe they will wait until Super Bowl week to drop a bomb on the team then. Wouldn’t put it past them. If the Pats are eliminated before that then just a quiet fine sometime in the spring...

All I know is the tape clip that we saw had little resemblance to the Spygate tapes. I’m sure the football ops could get some use out of it but I doubt much.

Typical of the media to make a mountain out of a mole hill before we even know the facts. Let's just say that the NFL investigates and finds nothing of significance, there'll be this huge expectation of wrongdoing because of the overblown hype from '07 and '15 that the Pats will get unjustly punished just to satisfy the rabid haters.

My boycott of ESPN and all NFL coverage aside from the Patriots games hasn't changed since "deflate gate". That was the dumbest **** I've ever gone through as a sports fan. The lasting damage of morons parroting the idea that the "Patriots are cheaters" will never go away. Right there with you in terms of being done with the off field nonsense.

I'm usually an optimistic guy, but the longer it takes, the less hopeful I am that the Pats will come out of this with a minor penalty. Just taking WAY too long.

I agree. No need for this. Just another stupid distraction. It has the deflagate feel to it. Wait until Pats have completed their playoff run and then hammer them. With the holidays coming up - no chance for it to get done soon. I blame Kraft for this - they know they aren’t supposed to film from the press box. Get another guy to film from the stands and don’t take the risk of doing something illegal. It’s all a bunch of nothing but why help the league and give them more ammunition. Just no cameras in the press box - ever!

One could just as easily argue that the longer it takes the less like any penalty would be levied. Eventually this will be old news.

That's Jan/Feb/Mar 2015 thinking, my friend. When it's "nothing", the NFL clears it up really fast. We're getting inspected triple hard because the NFL's cheapest owner, who never does anything to help the league, is throwing a fit about his horseshit team being "spied on".
