AB toying with us again

Just imagine going 4 wide with AB, JE, Sanu and Harry. Makes up for the TE deficiencies.

Harry's safe. It's Gunner who I can't help but notice hasn't "liked" AB's post. :D
Yeah, Harry's not going anywhere. Just would see the field a bit less if Ab came back.

I love the use of a semicolon by Rosenha...I mean AB.

As good place as any to drop this hilarious meme:

The settlement that should be worked out (God forgive me, I obviously have no scruples, except "win, baby win" because on the day AB was cut I said good riddance):

AB reinstated/re-signed by the Pats and drops his grievances against the Pats and the Raiders and the league.
The league agrees that it will not suspend AB, or it will work out some kind of "time served" suspension for the games he has already missed since week 2 (and he will not be paid, or will be fined or whatever - he will pay some sort of penalty for weeks 2-11 so that he is not "rewarded" with his entire salary for his ridiculous behavior).
AB disables his twitter and Instagram accounts and stays off of social media entirely. If he has to stay on in some capacity, he must hire a publicist who will post for him, and only football-related content that does not disparage or threaten anyone else.
AB agrees to have no contact with either of the women who have accused him of sexual misconduct except through his attorneys for legitimate legal purposes, and agrees to a gag order regarding any legal matter in which he is involved. Let your lawyers handle it.
AB pays the lady who painted his wall (to whom he supposedly exposed himself and to whom he sent threatening texts) for the work she did.
AB agrees that if he violates any of the above and/or any other reasonable team rules of the Pats, they reserve the right to cut or suspend him and he will not make a claim for any of the funds he has already given up above, including any funds he alleges are owed by the Raiders or the Pats.

This agreement (if AB could abide by it, a big IF obviously) would be a win for AB, the Pats and the league. Let's see if anyone is reasonable or has a brain.

Tough Choices to go
  1. Bringin' on the heartache
  2. Hysteria
  3. Foolin'

but have to go with

Another AB thread? All right! Now, all we need is another Gronk thread!

I wanted to see Edelman and AB so bad on the same Team make it happen make it happen. Even if gets a some extra weeks imagine having AB for the Playoffs.

LOL after Brady’s press conference and now this, is there really anyone on here still questioning whether or not Antonio Brown is wanted back by the players?

Guaranteed Brady told Brown to post this.

TB been a while the last we were posting about AB he was almost exonerated.:D

Sorry, couldn't resist playing off the Gronk thread title, given the timing and all. Amusing myself on a rainy Tuesday and it took four pages for anyone to complain. Plus maybe that other thread will finally die.

(I do think there's something newsworthy and different in the apology coming out given the state of many related variables.)

Deb I'm also guilty.

If only he wasn’t crazy

I would imagine settling the lawsuit and apologizing to the artist with the kids pictures would help things, but who knows.

For the love of god bring him back. AB is a child, however, this offense is really lost.

Yeah let's once again hitch our wagon to AB's brand of crazy, what's the worst that could happen?

Probably something along the lines of "Ladies and gentleman due to mental illness tonight the part of Charlie Brown will be played by the Patriots and Lucy will be played by AB..."

Agreed and I violated my own "ignore AB stuff" by posting. I do think it's somewhat interesting, however, that AB suddenly posted an apology to Bob Kraft and a bunch of Patriots players "liked" the post, all of this coming after an 8 hour meeting by AB with the league. Maybe Rodger the Dodger told him the only way he is getting back on the field this year is to make up with the Pats. Maybe Krafty Bob's friendship with Rodger the Dodger will finally pay off for us. Maybe I am reading way too much into all of the above. Maybe I am feeling kind of sick that AB could be exonerated by the league soon and allowed to sign with another team while we are struggling mightily on O. Sigh.

Zero maturity. None. Zilch. Nada.

It's starting to dawn on Antonio Brown and ~35% of this board what the rest of the world knew 2 months ago.

Stupid is as stupid does.......

.

I am really starting to feel bad for this guy. Can't we take him back and get him some mental health help and have him contribute? Such a shame because the Pats could really use him. Guy is just all over the place....
It takes time and a lot of help to overcome the problems he's got.

He misses football. He's human.

No matter how she behaved, a public apology for what he tweeted to the woman, taking personal responsibility for himself, that would indicate a huge step forward.

But he needs to mean it. Our culture today, and reinforcement he's gotten from it discourages this. Things were different fifty years ago.
