Obviously 51. There’s a faint voice in my head that still hasn’t stopped laughing.
I’m still laughing, right now.

51 is the only one I cried during.

Other than 36.

Probably 49 too. And the others most likely.

I cried the MOST during 51 for sure.
I’m still crying, right now.

It reads like an over-the-top Hollywood script. Brady becomes the greatest ever with his 5th SB win, same season as his bunk suspension, comes back from a 28-3 deficit with 18 minutes left, then gets handed the Lombardi and MVP from the super villain himself. I don’t think there can be a moment that could cause more emotion for a sports fan. Culmination of so many things.

Might get boo’ed off the stage like RG, but I wonder if THEY wonder if this was their last one... those two guys will not be complacent and they have proven to be tough, resilient winners with unparalleled work ethic and fire.

BUT, the season was up n down. The playoffs were driven by players like Hightower, Gronk, Edelman, Flowers, Brown... there’s a realistic chance 3/5 of those are gone and DH’s best days are behind him at this point. A 2012-13 type reload might be on the horizon and NE could be looking at a couple of years of “being very good, but not a champ”.

Even when everything is great, championships are tough. I think both BB & TB are smart enough to know SB 53 could easily be the final one (though I won’t put money against that crazy duo).

Right after the game Belichick told Brady and Edelman “we’ll be back, too.” That doesn’t sound like someone resigned to the idea this may be their last one. While I agree there are a lot of roster challenges, they don’t have any dead contracts to eat, have 12 draft picks, and suddenly have some young talent to build around in Michel, Jackson, and Gilmore (not young, but it’s so hard to get a shutdown CB in his prime). The offensive line is still relatively young as well. They have a lot of needs and a lot of resources. The 2018 draft may be the one we were waiting for. Wynn, Dawson, and Bentley could be impact players too.

As much as I love them all, gotta go with #36, who would have expected any of that?? From the game against the Raiders on a snowy night to stopping the "greatest show on turf", all against the backdrop of 9/11.. tough for my mind to move on from that night.

This was after so many years of mismanagement, football ineptitude, idiotic mistakes and lousy coaching.. up to then never thought it would change, but it did.. was living in rural W. Maine during that time, not exactly a hot bed of Pats enthusiasm at that time.. so my wife, 6 year old grandson all took off to Boston for the rally at City Hall Plaza.. great day the ground vibrated and since then have never desired to be in a crowd that large, once is enough..

Miami 2020;)

Well, if that's the case, so be it. They've given us so much. But, I just find it hard to believe that they don't have another one in them.

....................What I was not expecting was just how loud the thunderous boos would be that rained down on Goodell during that presentation. Obviously the only fans that stayed around were Patriots fans, so that's all you heard when Goodell was talking. It represented two years of pent-up outrage over Deflategate for all of us. You could see how uncomfortable that made him, and how satisfied it made the Patriots.

Before the game, people on this board said that if we won, they wanted Brady to insult Goodell during his postgame speech. He didn't have to -- the fans said everything that needed to be said.

This X 10 is the podium pinnacle.

I love everything about 51. Willie dropping multiple MF's, hugging on High, Strahan telling the guys they earned it, and Jonathan telling Goodell thank you very much, while looking like he was gonna spit on the SOB. Love the fact that Jonathan looks so salty towards Goodell. Love watching the Brady family sobbing... great stuff. Belichick defers, as always, to the players. That is, unequivocally, the sweetest.

The one where the fans booed Goodell

Yeah, it's hard to top 51 and the look on Goodell's (even more than usual) *****-slap face but let's not forget how sweet 49 was with that crazy Butler interception and the end of a ten year drought.

I remember there was an old and long sticky thread on some Jets forum about how we haven't won a title since that camera gate ********. Bet it's not there anymore.

Belichick defers, as always, to the players.

Yup, every year he does that. Despite the fact he has a right to say "It's mostly because of me, I am the greatest coach of all time", he demonstrates extreme humility by taking none of the credit in these moments of triumph. And he does it with sincerity.
