Adam Humphries > Amendola. I hope Humphries is a FA target for us.
I wouldn't hate Humphries but he'll make much more money than Amendola and there's no guarantee he'll fit our system the same way despite the...visual similarities.
Minimum salary?? Maybe. We need a new wr!! Hogan is finished and Dorsett is hopeless. That Humphries guy from the Bucs??? Cole Beasley might leave the cowboys too. You know Bill loves those white guys lol.

Am I missing something I thought DA shot his way out of town??

I love this narrative. The dude scores touchdowns in the two playoff games leading up to the Super Bowl and is hopeless. Right!!!
If you are looking at his as a number 1 receiver, you shouldn't be and that is on you. He has had some value to this team.
I recall him doing his level best to torch (tourch?) bridges on his way out... Remember that ridiculous limo ride with Reiss?
Money is a helluva drug.
I don't see Hogan being here next year. He doesn't seem to be able to generate separation.
If they're bringing in a young slot guy and at least one WR1/WR2 level player, why would they need Edelman insurance at the expense of other players?
I don't see any role for him, unless the Patriots decide that they are not bringing back any of the quartet from last year (Gordon/Patterson/Hogan/Dorsett). But, I can see that there will be those who'd rather give the WR4/WR5 spot to him than to a younger player.
