Any luck on Ticket Exchange?

Fellow Patsfans.com'er Pats4Life12 has been able to get a ticket on the exchange for the last two home games (had to go Stubhub last year). He just kept trying & bought very close to game day. Maybe the demand has gone down for the bots as the Pats haven't looked so good, or he just got lucky.

If the Pats lose tonight...I expect more and more tickets on the market

Pat's released a ton of tix for tomorrow to ticket exchange.

I am a season ticket holder and cannot attend every game. I'd rather make triple the face value of the tickets by selling them on the secondary market then putting them up on the ticket exchange.

Sorry guys, I guess it's my fault.

Thank you for being honest. I am sure there are 50 people reading this post right now that do exactly what you do.

There is a simple solution to this. The Patriots could take away the season tickets from the holder of any ticket found on third party sites. You could even have a 3 strikes rule to head off any ridiculous litigation. It is zero risk for the Patriots as there is a long list of people that would be glad to take them over.

The fact that the Patriots don't do this just indicates that they are happy with the current situation. In addition to guaranteeing sales, maybe they think that they will get a more upscale fan willing to pay $12 for a beer and drop $500 on merchandise at PP.

I have a strong suspicion that ticket brokers have algorithms set up to buy tickets as soon as they become available on Ticket Exchange.
I suspect something as well. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to part with my two tix for the Atlanta game and put them on the Pats Ticket Exchange late Tuesday night. They sold in just a couple minutes.

I'm bummed not going. This will be only the third Pats home game I've missed since 1994. :(

Edit: I probably could've made a profit on the secondary market but unlike PJ, I would never sell my tix to a broker -- too risky. Some idiot could buy them and get kicked out of the stadium for bad behavior, in which case I could lose my season ticket privileges.

Edit 2: Out of curiosity I checked Pats-Falcons tickets on Stub Hub and lo and behold, there are two tickets available in my section, my row, for $250-plus each (face value is $171). If those are MY tickets I hope they don't sell. At the Chargers game I'll have to ask my nearby seat mates if anyone snagged them. At least I'm protected with proof of selling them on the Pats-authorized exchange.

Every time I do it, I do feel a bit guilty and nervous. What I've been doing this year instead is just selling them for face value to my colleagues or friends. I did that with my tickets for tomorrow's game since I can't go.

That is how I used to feel too. Then for a couple of years I didn't mind taking the risk. Now for some reason I'm back to avoiding stubhub, etc.
