OT: Michael Bennett meltdown!

Well, I wouldn't label Bennett "an idiot" - I've heard stupider things from athletes. And Bennett did have a point when he said they made Ryan throw quick. Ryan did have to throw early on quite a few occasions, they did sack Ryan several times, strip sacked him too, knocked him around pretty good - to the point Ryan was clearly rattled for a time in 2nd half and nearly put Seahawks back in game with his fumble and two passes that should have/could have easily been picks.

The pressure on Ryan was pretty good and Bennett was all over the field so I can understand his frustration. Coverage was the Seahawks problem, their DB's got fried, Sherman included.

The tirade was unnecessary, sure, but the whole Seahawks team is a bunch of whiners that strut and scream when going good then ***** like a bunch of babies when things go awry. Plus they are one dirty team, holding, face masking, interfering, pushing and shoving all the time and getting away with it too much. A bunch of babies, who probably have dragged down a hard working player like Bennett into their swamp of self-pity and consternation that the whole world isn't kissing their feet.

The reporter was tweaking him. I don't blame him for going off.

Bennett is a stud. He can say whatever he wants.

that is Seattle in a nut shell. They dont know how to act in the face of adversity. When the smallest thing doesn't go their way, they meltdown. No heart

When it's clear they're gonna lose a game, they react pretty badly. EX - fighting at the end of SB 49. They're tough to knock out though, even when things do go badly for them they're one of those teams you can't count out of a game (season) until they're truly out.

This is a classic example of Pom Pom and his tire pumping of his players.

They play hard for him but somehow they believe that they can't handle not being good enough whatsoever.

Same crap happened here

I've always thought reporters get in the locker room too quick after a game, would it be too much to give the players 15 minutes to get dressed properly and cool down a little?

Agree 100%. I know they are professionals and paid well but some of these guys are pretty emotionally invested. Not giving them a pass to be idiots but I'd think 15mins to an hour would be more time for them to prep for both insightful questions as well as be prepared to answer tough questions or ones they deem idiotic.

Although some of these guys you could give a week or a year and they'd still act like turds.

Case in point, Earl Thomas on twitter last night.

hes a professional, needs to be able to answer a question. The Seahawks like to talk a big game but they turn into cry babies with the media anytime they lose.

Guy was emotional after a playoff loss. It's not the best look, but he's human.
Seattle does it every time after a loss though, they started insulting reporters after they lost the super bowl.

I like Michael Bennett

He's emotional and got eliminated in the playoffs

I have zero regard for the media.....they deserve to be treated like thenshitheads that they are

I would be ashamed to have any player from the team I love talk like this. Fortunately, the Patriots are above that sort of childish talk. Our Patrious tend to give credit where it's due and take blame when it's deserved.

Reason #246 why reports - ALL REPORTERS should be banned from locker rooms.
