Two more depends today were soiled with brown smears by a bitter old pos.

Today was a good day.

He's probably not taking his meds...again.

The worst part about this is that "Beli-cheat" isn't even clever, and yet everyone who says follows it up with this smug basking in their own perceived wit.

It's not even worth a response at this point.

lol This post sums up Spybabies so well. Always snickering at their own bad jokes.

Dude is very bitter and I can figure out why. The guys is a jerk a and always has been, too bad because he could be a much better man.

The problem for Pats fans, myself included, is that unless TB and BB win another one we will never ever hear the end of it. I know that the rule wasn't in place at the time of SB wins and that it isn't illegal to film in general but most fans are very uneducated Regarding have subject.

It still pisses me off that BB was smug enough to do it! I love my Pats but hate the legacy the issue brings.

Really, it's an accomplishment . . . but let's be honest. Despite being the winningest coach in NFL history (328 regular season wins), Shula's has some very big misses.

After all, in an era that had no salary cap and teams could keep players as long as they wanted, Shula won just two Super Bowls, losing four others. And he never won any with Dan Marino, one of the greatest QBs in history.

His heavily-favored Baltimore Colts were embarrassed by the New York Jets in Super Bowl III, one of the biggest upsets in history.

And speaking of the Colts, how did Shula go from there to Miami? Oh, that's right. There was tampering involved by the Dolphins, forcing them to hand over a first-round pick to the Colts for signing Shula.

Sounds like some kind of cheating went on there, Don.

Shula's one of those people. He runs the competition committee his whole career so he can make rules favoring whatever team he has, then calls someone a cheater.

BB only cares about winning. That is why I enjoy him so much.

People can obsess over the filming if they want to. It's quite irrelevant. Even IF it did help - only a stupid coach wouldn't change things to avoid letting opponents steal signals.

To say the difference between BB's record vs the record of the other coaches is even remotely about the filming is beyond crazy. And why Shula would get involved is beyond me.

Just so you know. Even with a SB win, fans will still never hear the end of it. So F the haters.

My hope is that Shula limits his freefall into senility long enough to see and understand that the Patriots went 19-0 and won at least two more Superbowls.

Yeh but it won't be as bad. Still pissed at BB for it though. I'm sure some will come up with a new excuse but saying to hey haven't win anything since then will no longer be an argument. Even thigh they have been the best team in the NFL over the last 13 years or so.

I can hear it now, man.

"THEY HAVEN'T WON SINCE SPYGATE" will change to.

"THEY'VE LOST MORE SUPER BOWLS THEN THEY'VE WON SINCE SPYGATE. 3-0 PRE SPYGATE. 1-2 POST. COINCIDENCE? I THINK NOT!".

If we are lucky enough to win TWO more Superbowls, the excuse will be "THEY STILL HAVEN'T WON AS MANY SUPER BOWLS AS THEY HAD BEFORE SPYGATE".

I think what Coach Sulfa was really trying to say was........

GET OFF OF MY LAWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shula has always been a gutless fraud. I think this thing with BB runs a lot deeper with him than cameras on the sidelines, he sees Steve Belichick's kid doing things he could never do in his own prime and he can't take it, and he knows BB could drop a hammer on him if Belichick gave a crap about what Shula thought. It was always conspicuous to me, with all the accolades BB hands out to his colleagues, how silent he was about Super Bowl III's losing coach. Pure speculation on my part of course, but Baltimore and Annapolis aren't too far from each other, and remember where BB's NFL career started. I suspect there's some history there.

In any event, thanks, douche, for reminding us old school Pats fans why you will always be the top of our enemies list. Now f off and croak already

IIRC BB is pretty gracious about shula and his wins and Shula knew BB's dad.

Don Shula is a petty man, a little man, foolish and totally irrelevant.

And,..... me thinks he does protest too much.

I doubt that this phases BB in the least. Now, the players on the other hand, are likely to use this as bulletin board material so they can shut Shula up from smearing their coach..

Guess he's still a bit salty about 16-0. Yeah, they may have fallen short in the SB, but they still finished 16-0 and his Dolphins did not do that.

This is on his restaurant website:
"Be sure that what you say and what you do are the same thing."
- Don Shula

LMAO!

He has one in Providence. Let's all make reservations, go there wearing Pats gear, and skip out on the bill :)

If that screen shot takes, they are no longer in Providence, but we have fans in other places. :)

We're all aware of what he said a few days ago as it's been all over the internet. Here is a statement from a poster that pretty much sums up my thoughts on it from this site: "
Even without a perfect 19-0, the Patriots 2007 season exposed and tarnished the reputation of the 72 Fins. Every journalist began analyzing the Fins schedule for the first time.

What? They were only playing a 14 game regular season schedule back then? In the modern 16-game era, it’s around the 13 or 14 game mark that a few undefeated teams lost their first game.

What? The Fins played only 2 teams during the regular season that would finish with a winning record and both at 8-6?

What? The Pats in recording their 18th victory to no defeats went where no team — not even the 1972 Dolphins — went before? And to get there they beat a 5-0 Dallas team IN DALLAS (remember the “Duel in Dallas?”). A 7-0 Manning-led Colts team, IN INDIANAPOLIS. A playoff bound Redskins team, 52-7. A playoff bound Steeler team by 3 TDs (despite a guarantee of victory by a Steelers player). And they beat the eventual SB champion Giants in the final game of the regular season (when the Giants were starting to heat up) IN NEW YORK. They beat San Diego TWICE, the second time while San Diego was on an 8-0 run.

What? All this winning occurred AFTER the videotaping was revealed and stopped?

No wonder Don Shula is mad.

Many homer fans of rival teams amuse me by floating the argument that the videotaping is the difference between winning 3 Super Bowls by 3 points and losing 2 Super Bowls by 3-4 points. When in actuality, there’s a confound. The Patriots also turned over their all-world defense between 2004 and 2007. Belichick was never able to find the right mix of players to duplicate the skills of Bruschi, Vrabel, McGinest, Law, J. Green (who always had that timely sack of Manning in relief of Seymour), Pfifer, etcetera.
Most dynasties end after 3 in a row or 3 out of 4. (The Cowboys were nowhere to be found for years and the Steelers were dormant in the 80s). Belichick’s teams continue to threaten year after year.

How does he do it? Many other Patriots fans can probably provide more compelling answers than I, but to me it’s all about designing a new game plan every week to target an opponent’s weaknesses and anticipated strategies. (“This is what THEY are going to try to do, knowing this is what OUR weaknesses are”). And it’s drafting and developing the talent to be able to morph into whatever the defense needs to become from one game to the next — from one play to the next — to give that play the best possible chance of a favorable outcome."
