OT: Leaf Movie

Apparently a movie is being made about Ryan Leaf. At first I thought it was a joke but I guess not. Here's the trailer:

Carr is also recreating an alleged incident in which Junior Seau tricked the rookie Leaf into buying an expensive dinner for the Chargersâ€™ veterans. Leaf refused to pay, so Seau (so the story goes) ignored Leafâ€™s red practice jersey and sacked him the next day in practice, standing over the millionaire rookie and taunting, â€œWill you pay now?â€

Football fans will recognize other characters in the movie; actors have been cast as Bobby Beathard, Jerry Jones, Mike Holmgren, and others. Carr is still searching for an actor to portray Rodney Harrison and recite the â€œnightmareâ€ line. Carr also plans to cast a Peyton Manning. â€œManning isnâ€™t a big player in the story, but I definitely want his presence to be felt. Itâ€™s hard to mention one without the other. Itâ€™s like heads and tails.â€

Looks interesting, maybe they can than make one on Todd Marinovich, another big time bust.

Amazing how San Diego has rebounded from this debacle, and have made up any lost ground they did by signing Leaf. Wonder if he gets any money from this film??

Even though it is being made, it is still a joke. Albeit a bad one.

I wonder how poor Eli is feeling about his decision now. Nothing like having to deal with the MOHP (Most Over Hyped Player), Jeremy Shockey, after every single passing play gone bad on top of everything else.
