Rob Ninkovich gets the ball imo.....

with out his interceptions I think we might have been burried early on.

I left it plural for a reason. More than 1..... but Rob imo set the table

Ninkovich for me. Like I said in the other thread his 2 picks kept us in this game when we were being gashed on D or else we could have been down double digits and the game is completely different.

Chung kind of iced the game for us but Nink was the key IMO

I agree man...... Those were huuuuge turn overs and momentum killers.:D

Nink. nobody expected this from him while Chung is supposed to be a beast. Stopping those drives was big.

I'm not so sure. Nink did an amazing job stopping the Fins early drives with those picks, but after his sack, it was Chung who blocked the punt, Chung blocked the FG that was returned for a TD, and the Int was just to seal the deal. I think the 2 blocks on special teams where just as big as the 2 ints by Nink.

Also, gotta give honorable mention to Tate. His TD return was what shifted the momentum our way in the first place. And BJGE did everything asked and more.

The tradition is that 3 or 4 players get a game ball. So balls go out to Ninko, Chung, BJGE, and Woodhead.

Per Reiss according to Chung Bill awarded game balls to all the players indicating a total team victory. Cool.

UHHH how can anybody say they expected this? I remember people saying he was the WORST starter in the Nfl??? I say Chung for teh blocked punts and fg... plus teh pick 6. ninkovich did good, but Chung scored 14 pretty much

I'd give it to Chung.

He made 3 plays that directly led to Touchdowns.

2 blocked kicks (1 returned for TD, the other led to an easy rushing TD), and a pick-6.

I loved seeing the picks, the sack, and the pressures by Ninkovich, but in the first half he lost contain a couple of times.

Chung gave up a touchdown, but otherwise he had what appeared to be an extraordinary game. Not only for the blocks and pick 6 and several of his patented deadly-hands tackles, but because he was freakin lined up on Marshall all night and did an overall damn good job.
