Same picks as the OP. Really hoping SD can pull off the upset. San Francisco will give Carolina's D problems now that they got Vernon Davis and Michael Crabtree both healthy unlike in the first matchup.

I gotta think it's the chemistry he has with the others on the defense that has made him better. The continuity (10 of 11 returning starters from the year before) of the personnel helped the defense big time.

Not that it means anything, but the Saints game and the Cowboys game in 2011 were also both on FOX with Thom Brennaman and Troy Aikman as the commentators. The feel of both games were similar, both with the Patriots down late in the 4th, only for Brady to pull off GW TD drives with a catch...

With the injuries on offense, growing pains are to be expected. I would rather have the struggles now and early in the season than in the winter. But hopefully by the end of the season, the Patriots will be able to attack defenses with a full arsenal of weapons and showcase what their offense...
