I gotta think it's the chemistry he has with the others on the defense that has made him better. The continuity (10 of 11 returning starters from the year before) of the personnel helped the defense big time.

With the injuries on offense, growing pains are to be expected. I would rather have the struggles now and early in the season than in the winter. But hopefully by the end of the season, the Patriots will be able to attack defenses with a full arsenal of weapons and showcase what their offense...

I don't think the offense will put up the same numbers as last season. But, if Brady has good chemistry with the new targets, the offense can be more varied and actually tougher to stop than in recent years. The WR group has lots of unknowns. But they actually have the ability to go downfield...

I think Baltimore's defense could definitely be better this season, but the offense won't do as well, without proven targets in the middle of the field (Dennis Pitta and Anquan Boldin) to complement Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones on the outside.
