Mike Reiss of the Boston Globe reported on Wednesday that ESPN has picked New England as one of seven teams that they will assign an on-site reporter in this weekend's upcoming draft. According to Reiss it will be Wendi Nix who will be reporting from the trenches at Gillette Stadium.

The other teams that ESPN has reportedly assigned an on-site reporter are: Buffalo, Arizona, Detroit, N.Y. Jets (Day 1), Philadelphia (Day 2) and Denver.

The move likely comes with the expectations that the Patriots probably won't be using all 11 draft choices, and will probably be active in facilitating some sort of trade that will likely make for an interesting weekend in Foxboro. Makes any Patriots fan look that much more forward to this weekend.
