Ive been touting that tom, the KC Chiefs are our 5th exhibition game .. We will win tom, however if say we win 21-12 or 10-7 like that would this raise some doubts about us in any one's head?? Im predicting a easy 20 point win, but I thought the same thing 2 yrs ago against buff.. :banned:

So the question is would a ugly win concern you, or the motto a win is a win...

Not at all.

It's week 1.

No. It wouldn't surprise me if they came out rusty, especially with Tom missing the whole preseason. I expect a big game from Maroney and the running back crew.

A win's a win. No worries here.

Unless the field is a quagmire, I'd be concerned.

Not out of my head crazy, but concerned.

Time to turn up the heat gentlemen.

Although I expect a high-scoring Pats offence tomorrow, I would not be upset with an ugly win. Every dog has his day, and every team has the potential to knock off anyone else.

Seriously, all it takes is the one tipped pass run back for a TD, or some freak play, and the other team can suddenly gain a huge boost of confidence. It happens.

I don't think that it will happen tomorrow, however, but a win is a win. They don't let you in the playoffs based upon how many points you scored. :)

a win is still a win. You win big because you want to break the old record. :)

The Pats have a tendency to make blowouts out of the games that should be close and squeakers out of the games that should be locks. Not only would it not concern me, I won't be all that surprised. I doubt we'll cover the 16.5.

What's the weather situation up in New england tomorrow? I know it poured ALL DAY here in PA today, so I'm sure that crap is on its way to you guys. I dont see the offense flourishing in bad weather, so a tight game wouldn't worry me. But that won't stop the ESPN pundits from declaring our season over:D

Well what is an ugly win anyways?:banned:

There is nothing more annoying then watching the game with someone who gets upset when we didn't win by enough.

Hanna should be gone by gametime, should be partly sunny in the mid 70's and dry, turf may be a tad slippery but i doubt it.

Where we haven't had the whole team on the field for a whole game yet this season, an ugly win wouldn't concern me.

I would take an ugly win over an amazing lose any day.

It will not concern me. I fully expect this to be a re-run of 2006 opener against Buffalo (strip sack for TD on the first play, anyone?)

I love all kind of wins, take 'em any way you can get 'em.

I think that the Pats will start of slow this year. Think that they might have a lose or two by the half way point. Then they will start coming together, a classic Patriots type season, begin cold then slowly get hotter around Thanksgiving.
Yes I expect a close game tomorrow,

If you truly feel this way, then for all that you value your sanity, avoid the game thread as if it's plague.
