Remember the classic Abe Lincoln - JFK thing?

Well, on a much lower scale, one can make a case for a Wilfork-Brown thing:

Aside from Chiuba E. Obele's post #118 in the other thread showing Volin's retweet:

Vince Wilfork in college vs Malcolm Brown in college. #PatsDraft

It struck me that there are many other coincidences here:

1) Both born and raised in the deep South, had never been to New England before

2) Both married in college and adopted their wife's young child

3) Both drafted to fill a gaping need to fill at DT from previous veteran (Ted Washington - Vince Wilfork)

4) Both were unexpected to be around at the Patriots draft mark and fell inexplicably right into BB's hands. Everyone was shocked in 2004 when Big Vince did not go in the top-10.

5) Both drafted one year after BB spends a 1st rounder on a DE (Ty Warren- Dom Easley)

6) Both drafted after a SB winning season

I'm sure there are more, but that's at least pretty coincidental

I'm thinking both won't get flagged for trying to poke Brandon Jacobs in the eye. Just a hunch.

I was told there was going to be no math on this message board. Now shmessy forced me to take off my socks and shoes so I can figure out the math problem in the thread title.

BTW, I got an answer of 7. Am I right?

Invalid equation, not enough data

It looked like Common Core math to me. I avoided trying to solve it.

Both are said to be married to women who "wear the pants" in the family.. strange but true. Bianca II....

I see where I screwed up. I forgot to carry over the "Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and Kennedy had a secretary named Lincoln". It is a common mistake.

Both proceeded to win Super Bowls (back to back for the Pats, no less) as rookies.

So I guess Malcom better enjoy his hair while he has it

Are we entirely sure Vince didn't send a body double to Houston, change his hair & enroll in Austin?

Has anyone ever seen Vince & Malcom in the same place at the same time?

I'm hoping both win a SB in their rookie seasons ;).

AND, there was an NFL player named Lincoln Kennedy !

Lincoln Kennedy played offensive line.

Gerald Ford played Center. Lincoln was shot in Ford's Theater. There's a theater at Lincoln Center. And at the Kennedy Center.

Stalin Colinet... oh hell I got nothin'.

Both have initials of quality German engineered cars. VW and MB....heck we traded up...

If you are what you eat... it's like they're twins!

Lincoln had a secretary named Kennedy and Kennedy once threw up in his father's Lincoln.
