As far as coaches and the front office goes, here's what's left from the last time the Pats won a SB - 2004:

Well, this has to be the most depressing post i've read on this forum.

And to whoever said keeping these guys past their prime would be depressing, I actually disagree. The 2001 season was special to me, and honestly, and perhaps it's just after seeing Bruschi's press conference, I'd rather keep that memory closer to me and sacrifice a little talent by keeping these guys on a little longer than they really should.

That opinion will certainly ware off after a few days ;)

Exactly, this will wear off. Ask 49er fans if they were sad that the 81 team was different from the 89 team, let alone the 94 team. Everyone thinks of Jerry Rice; he wasn't even on the first championship team. The true dynasties evolve, replace old players with new ones. I personally love how each team is unique, and each season brings new challenges. Rodney, Tedy and Vrabel will never be forgotten by Patriots fans. Hopefully this is the year that Meriweather, Mayo and AD stamp themselves permanently into the part of our memory banks reserved for the days after a Super Bowl trophy is hoisted.
