I'm a bit surprised that the general consensus is that Stallworth:
a) Won't be back; and
b) Won't be missed.
In regards to a), PFT buzz is there is little to no interest around him. To that end, I haven't even heard of him visiting with a team.
As far as b), I think his presence on the field did more than we might realize. Sure he didn't have an amazing season, but he had lots of big plays and is a great RAC guy.
I know there is a perception that Gaffney assumed a larger role and supplant Stallworth, but I recall someone posting stats that showed the contrary.
Anyway, after the early-March free agent orgy settles down a bit and GMs light up a smoke, if Stallworth is still on the market I'd expect the Pats to make a pitch for him.
