IMHO, this was one of the most innovative game plans in years. We took away the run AND kept three corners on the field.

I really miss the defense of old, when we lined up with no one having their hands on the ground until the offense set.

That more-or-less happened on a couple of plays last week. Wilfork put his hand in the dirt (because who was he fooling), and CJ, Buchannon, Nink, and the LBs were moving about in 2-point stances.

It's a great sign, because when BB starts getting creative, it means he trusts the players he has to be more active and handle more complicated and less conventional concepts. It's something to build off of for sure.
