we won't even have a complete list of UDFAs until the new CBA is announced.

But everyone is talking about how this draft class sucked overall...surely there wouldn't be enough talent to spill into UDFA territory?

I was very upset the Pats didn't select Herzlich in the 6th or 7th round. I mean, why not, at that point, it really is a crap shoot at this point, why not take a shot. I mean especially that 7th round pick, you can't tell me he's got more potential than Herzlich. What a wasted pick, and it would have been a classy move. I was really embarrassed that the NFL wouldn't take a chanc on the guy. Hopefully he proves everyone wrong.

I wonder if he didn't get drafted out of respect?

Umm.. I believe you are confusing UDFA with UFA. The UDFA are the ones who weren't drafted over the past 3 days. That list is set.
