Tryout List

Nutty? This is the draft board! Obsessing about obscure PS candidates is our bread and butter.

But if you prefer...

Hey, does anybody think the Pats might try to sign Jason Taylor? ;)

Forget Jason Taylor, think younger. How about that Shawn Crable kid?;)

Heresy! ;)

If the Patriots want to think DE/OLB, they should look to the 2010 draft. Willie Young from NC State, 6-5 243 end who could convert to 3-4.

Thats right

Another tryout player per Mike Reiss: Mike Furrey WR.

Sorry about that. I misread the Reiss article. Recent tryouts

could include numerous players.
The rookie camp tryouts would pretty much be limited to rookies. Veteran's would come in for a "workout," different terminology; though other rookie wannabes may be brought in for workouts during the year, essentially an audition for the Practice Squad where it turns into a tryout.

Box dikshunarry:

workout: a few hours of interviews, medical exams, and some position drills.
tryout: an extended series of workouts in a football practice setting at mini-camp, training camp, and on the Practice Squad.

Hooray! We know the names.

Some interesting guys there. Cuff was the nation's leading rusher at Delaware with Flacco at QB. That must have been a hell of an offense.

Also like Ciurciu as an ST guy. Of the younger guys, there might be a couple of keepers, and if not, they're looking at the best practice squads in NE history. FWIW.

I'd like to see Perez give Hanson some competition but punters seem

to always be disappointments.

Well done.

Cuff, Kettani, Barnes, Ortiz, Ciurciu, White, Williams, Perez
I know...that IS good....and there is also Allen who was not signed...and another....I wonder if a position can be found for that unsigned player??? But I have to say THAT is quite good getting to 29 of the 30...
