You don't say
Uhh yea.
I was responding to a post saying Brady predates Duncan on a pro level as far as excellence.

Ah ok i get you now.Serious? You don't think Snyder or Woody Johnson wouldn't trade for him regardless of how much it costs or the picks? Brady doesn't want that, he wants to choose where he goes... again - only IF BB decides to get rid of him which I don't think he does. Brady's interview earlier in the year was quite telling (imo), he wants to play as long as he thinks he is good whether thats with the Pats or another team (of his choice).
Ah ok i get you now.
Either way ti doesnt sound good for Brady and the Pats immediate future. I dont think they just make the move for no reason.
this makes me sad and it seems like the media is completely ignoring this very real possibility.
Which is probably the biggest factor for his dramatically below market salary demands.I doubt BB is going to treat TB like he did Law, Milloy, McGinest, Seymour, Branch, ...etc. But TB did see how BB treats players on the downside, so you have to figure its gotta be in the back of his head that BB might do the same to him.
Brady is a team player more than any NFL player out there, IMO.
Legacy is not making the most $$/year. Rather, how many SB rings are on your fingers.
The Patriots (aka BillB) should clip dead-weight in the off-season to retain more cap $$, starting with Amendola. Also, many of the other players should be asked to restructure as well.
Their parents are brother and sister.Well, according to Tanguay and Minehan, this just proves that Krafty Bob is cheap.
Ha Tanguay is such a bandwagon turd. Remember after we had our struggles in the first Jets game?Their parents are brother and sister.
I heard the tail end of Miguel on Dale and Holley but he was just getting off so I couldn't hear what this meant or if it was good or bad. What are the tl;dr ramifications of this restructuring?
Question: How does this benefit Tom Brady? Answer: Makes it easier for him to ask to be released, if he chooses to do so. May help the Patriots build a stronger team around him.
See my blog post http://www.patsfans.com/salary-cap/?p=1020
Was it me? Or did Holley not like being corrected?
Meanwhile, in Chicago, the Bears are backing up the Brinks truck for this...
Hey, I go bugf### on these media whores more than anybody. But, as I said awhile ago, I met Tanguay at a function a couple of years ago and he's a total jackass. I mean astoundingly so. Minehane had promise until he became contaminated by KuKluxKallahan and Dennis the Dope.Ha Tanguay is such a bandwagon turd. Remember after we had our struggles in the first Jets game?
"THIS IS WHO THEY ARE! THEY WONT IMPROVE!"
... Or how about after the Broncos game....
(Screams) "I WAS WRONG!"
We already know how you feel about Tom Brady:
Was that mental toughness during the last minute of the Super Bowl in 2007 (amazing how overlooked that sequence of plays has been over the years) when the Patriots got the ball back, had timeouts to use, had close to 50 secs on the clock and only needed a FG to win it all. Brady made NO attempt to work the ball down the field to get into FG range. All he did was chuck it long to Moss like he couldn't wait to get off the field.
If it makes you feel better, it does seem like BB and TB have a special relationship... I mean, like name me one person other than TB that can get away with calling BB 'Baby'
They came within inches of completing that bomb to MossWhile I don't agree with the Brady comments, that last series he is talking about still haunts me to this day. I will never understand why they didn't try a few short passes to get into field goal range.
So they would prefer not to get compensation? I just read Miguel's blog post and it says basically allows Brady to ask for his release if he wants it. But then he says could allow them to build a better team around Brady but I'm not buying that. He already did that.I think the point here is that if the Pats decide to "move on" from Brady before this contract ends, they now have the "option" of releasing him instead of trading him.
