This must be the first time a QB has won Offensive Player of the Week when his team provided over 250 yards of rushing offense.
Wow, I thought Peyton would get it because he had better numbers. They both played garbage defenses.
How did he have better numbers? He only had a higher completion percentage, but Brady also rushed for a TD and brought his team back from a 14 point deficit in the middle of the third quarter.
Brady did buy himself some time in the pocket (in different ways than usual) and did end up making some key plays that he normally doesn't attempt.
Well Brady was quite surgical, except for those times when he was not.
Though, I hadn't commented on this and I had planned to. Brady did buy himself some time in the pocket (in different ways than usual) and did end up making some key plays that he normally doesn't attempt.
It's an honor for him and he had a good game, but that was a team butt whooping and all the parts worked well together (must be the O flowing back through Welker).

I thought it was one of his best pocket awareness days in a long time. He was stepping up and around like a champ.
Furthermore, Buffalo's D was not considered garbage before the game. What with all the hubballoo I was reading about their front seven. And they did put a fair amount of pressure on TB ...that is, until the pats started running it down their throat. LOL
offensive player of the week award award #22 may be coming this Sunday for TB.
Spotlight game, outdoors, 45 degrees, rain.
I like.
