Star Wars connections in the NFL universe | NFL.com
I thought this was funny.
I read this earlier today and also laughed. I did think, however:
1. I wasn't aware Obi-Wan was a cold-blooded murderer. But to each their own.
2. Flacco is Luke? REALLY? That's over the top.
3. A cheap fat-joke shot at Vince. Because no fat kid ever gets called Jabba at school every day of his/her life.
That said, Star Wars content is always a blessing and the C3P0 thing was worth the price of admission. Tebow JarJar too.
Vader owned Luke with one hand in Empire Strikes Back, just like Brady owned Flacco with no defense in 2011, but then lost in the following movie to Luke/Flacco, the big goofball, in their next face off.
I can see it, unfortunately lol
I thought that was gold.
Sorry, I'm done now... Got in the mood to edit photos today apparently
How can you do a Star wars bit with No Darth Vader?.....
OK. So that's Brady, Welker, Wilfork, Gisele, McDaniels, and Belichick as characters from the Star Wars franchise. Three for the Ravens, two for the Steelers. Nope, nobody's obsessed with the Pats.
But, c'mon. Wilfork shouldn't have been Jabba. That should have been good ol' Rex!
Darth Vadar's in the Title, Bro.
Did you see Attack of the Clones??
Hope I didn't spoil it for ya.

Tebow as Jar Jar. Bahahaha!
That was Brady in more Patriots hate from the NFL site. How do those morons get paid after pissing on 1/32 of their market? F*** NFL.com "writers."
Because they make the 15 of the other 32 markets happy. I'm sure there are more patriot haters then patriot fans. Its the same thing with the cowboys, though we at least have been relevant in the last 20 years.
that was teh dumbest thing i have ever seen.
If you are Smith and Wesson, do you actively write off potential purchases from the anti-gun people because it pleases the NRA?
If I'm CEO of Smith and Wesson and some Congressman from Vermont wanted to buy $5,000 in guns so he can crush them on the news as he gave a speech about gun control legislation my only question is "Cash or charge?" If that pisses off some people at the NRA, I'd ask them to pay $5,001 to stop me.:bricks:
I guess we can't count on that business acumen from NFL.com (Or NFL Network - their media guys.)
I have to say. . . . if there were a fire, and I had to choose between them, I'd save Tebow every time.
I'd also push JarJar into it...
Either'f you ever heard of Mister Plinkett??
For any Movie Afficionados, there is this Cat who calls'mself Mister Plinkett who has churned out about a dozen Movie Reviews ~ almost all'f'm are Star Trek or Star Wars ~ that are flat out brilliant ~ and freaking hilarious.
Believe me: This is not any Roger Ebert swill: This is something you can sink your teeth into.
Warning: This is no 3 Minute Quickie ~ These are Hour Long Presentations.
So for this to be worth your while, you have to have an enormous chunk of leisure time to spend, an open mind or a particular point of view when it comes to Star Wars Movies, and a deeply demented sense of Humor.
Believe me: it's entertaining.
