A few choice quotes:

A very humble and kind man, Bill Belichick prefers to donate his time and generosity quietly, without fanfare, without the glare of the press and truly with his own personal style and grace.

"Bill Belichick of the New England Patriots has contributed more to the work I surround myself with than any black athlete in modern times – financially, intellectually, every way. He's been in the prisons with me. He's met gang members in my home; he's met gang members in Cleveland. He's put up money. He's opened up areas of education for us very quietly and very strongly. Imagine what would happen if Michael Jordan did the same thing."

Hey Tony Dungy, you can do good without ensuring that either a camera or a microphone is close by.

And you media idiots, just because a guy understands how little most of you contribute to the game itself, and he doesn't bow before your feet, doesn't mean that he can't be a decent fellow.

Now that was funny :-D

I too am getting sick of Dungy's good boy image.

Dungy is a c***, and I don't use that word lightly. I felt that way even when I didn't mind the Colts in general. He's the most arrogant coach in the league, BB included. I actually want to punch him.

Don't worry, Dungy's probably shtupping his secretary. She probably thinks it's an act of pennance. It'll all come out.

Thanks for posting. It's like I tell people all the time, those who have the mental capacity to look beyond his public face and disseminate information that is out there, books, information like this available on the web, know that BB is a honorable man. Flawed, like the rest of us, but honorable.

Unfortunately, it's much easier to react with the hysteria and venom that we've seen this week.
