No. Boycott the NYTs. The Globe is a wholly owned subsidiary. Meaning that its profits are its profits.
It benefits the stockholders of the corporation that owns the Times and the Globe. But there is no direct benefit to the New York Times newspaper.
Well, the stockholders rule the roost. Granted it takes longer to see an affect because stockholders usually aren't aware of finance until the company publishes the quarterly finance report. So a boycott would probably not be effective for immediate results.
Personally, I will not give the any entity associated with the NYT any of my money until they stop this personal witch hunt. Anyone else can do what they want.
