Also a weak K and P class.

That's not a comprehensive list, but it's a start. Overall, looks like a good draft class. Not as good as 2014, which was incredibly deep, but much stronger than 2013 and deeper than 2011-2012. There will be a lot of good players an all 3 days of this draft.

Great stuff mayo. You're only allowed 1 rating but if you could give more you'd get a like, agree and winner as well.:)

QB: I like that Nick Montana kid out of Tulane. UDFA guy. Could clear waivers and make the PS. Something about him. Can't put my finger on it. Still must think realistically we go into Sept. status quo with Tom and Jimmy Grapes.

RB: Losing Vereen would create a huge hole. White is raw. Big-back wise Blount is under contract and we control Gray. Ridley could probably be had on a prove-it deal plus we don't know what we have in Gaffney. What do you know about this Aaron Ripkowski kid out of Oklahoma? I just love the name and he's listed as a 6-1 257 lb FB. Alright, I'm curious.

WR: Edelman, Gronk, Lafell and Wright are all under contract. That's 274 (+20 PS) catches. Amendola is under contract as well (27 catches+5 PS). Tyms is under our control. Have we given up on 2nd Rder Dobson already? We need a safety valve from the backfield if Vereen leaves (52 catches). Hooman, Bolden, Devlin are all under contract. The big 6 receivers (in bold) caught 353 of the teams 392 receptions (90%). This just doesn't seem to be a huge need to me. It's like buying new tires and shiny rims for a car that needs a transmission.

TE: We're good. Maybe a blocking TE. My binkie from last year (Jones) got 2 tries but didn't make the cut. I want to like Nick Boyles from Del. (team Capt, 6-5+ 270) but apparently he's not a good blocker. Tomlinson from El Paso seems an intruiging late Rd UDFA. No reason to spend much capitol here.

OL: Our motors strong. Brady may have miles but his oils been changed regularly. This is the trainy and frame were talkin here. 1st 2 days we get at least 1.

DT: See above. Big, young uglies with attitudes in the trenches. THAT is this teams biggest glaring need.

EDGE: This where I have to control myself. Like some have with shiny rim WR's, I have the same addiction with pass rushers. Ayers is probably gone. He got to show himself and I think he'll cash in. Love the thought of any of them esp. Dupree, Orchard, Kikaha, Odighizuwa and either of the Smiths. Probably not gonna happen on the 1st 2 days. Fix the transmission. The tires will pass inspection for another year.

OFF: McKinney will be gone. Collins, Hightower, Mayo. We'll be good

S: Huge decision with McCourty. They can't let him walk. Chung, Harmon, Wilson, Ebner. They can't

CB: Revis. Browner. Ryan and Arrington are OK. We could use some help here though. Figure out Revis frist. Priority A amongst all other off-season decisions we make. Period. Everything hinges on him.

ST: If we cut Amendola we are in definate need of KR/PR help. I'm big on getting a guy on day 3. If Lockett or Abdullah slip, take 'em. Love what I'm reading about Abdullah and Lockett has the genes.

Just my take. It'll all change after FA I'm sure.;)

I think the shape of this draft class dovetails nicely with our needs and priorities. OL, DT and EDGE on day 1-2 is my priority. Offensive skill players on day 3, unless ridiculous value is available. There is ridiculous depth at WR and RB, so some really good players should be available.

The final list of declared underclassmen is out. 84 players declared, including 10 who had graduated but still had eligibility:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/.../nfl-draft-74-underclassmen-headed-to-the-nfl

That's down 2 from the 86 who had supposedly declared. One of the missing names is former Ohio St. DE/OLB Noah Spence, who is rumored to be transferring to Illinois St. Dane Brugler calls him a 1st round talent. I'm not sure who the other one is.

It was just reported that Spence transferred to E. Kentucky. Let's hope he gets his act together.

the most obvious need is guard but past that its going to completely depend on who they retain in free agency

When is the latest Braxton Miller can transfer?
