Have you ever noticed that it's the players with a problematic reputation (or develop one later) that seem to go out of their way to say how great it is here? It's almost like the opposite of "Methinks thou dost protest too much."

What makes me think of it as genuine (other than because I want it to be true) is how utterly rare it is for these guys to bad-mouth Belichick or the organization after theyve been cut or traded. In fact in almost every case, they go on saying nothing but positive things about their time here.
If Belichick was such a huge egomaniacal prick as our enemies want to make him out to be, then why aren't the ex-players/Pats calling him out for it?
I think its because Belichick and this organization has in fact something special that professional players can truly appreciate.
