* The Patriots are 7th in the league in total scoring, while ranking dead last in field goals. That's an offense with a killer instinct. New England has 21 TDs to just 6 FG; compare to St. Louis with 15 TDs and 19 FGs.

* 10 Patriots caught passes last night. 9 of those 10 (all but Troy) are signed for next year.

Deion Branch, yards per catch last year : 12.8
David givens, yards per carch last year : 12.5

Doug Gabriel, yards per catch this year : 12.9

After the Vikings win, Tom Brady improved his career record as a starter to…

*10-0 in indoor stadiums

*19-1 on artificial turf

*20-4 against NFC opponents

*34-1 when posting a passer rating of 100.0 or higher

*55-2 when leading at halftime

*60-1 when leading after three quarters

*74-22 in regular season and playoff games

Seasons without winning the Super Bowl:

Dan Marino - 17

Peyton Manning - 8

This is one of my favorite stats to follow!

One of those interesting facts: entering last night's game, Maroney had the longest kickoff return of the season that didn't go for a touchdown. Now he has the two longest returns that didn't go for touchdowns. . . . But, better still, he has the BEST return average in the NFL, not just rookies.

brady vs manning (6-1)
soon to be 7-1 !

And 6 of those 10 weren't on the roster last season!

Deion who???? Don't need him.

prior to Belichick, the most games over .500 during their tenure by a patriots coach was +10 by Raymond Berry. (In all time Patriots history)

Belichick has shattered that mark 4 times over, he being at +44 now.

+44 - Belichick
+10 - Berry
+6 - Holovak
+5 - Fairbanks
+5 - Carroll
+2 - Meyer
E - Parcells
-1 - Bullough/Erhardt
-3 - Bengston
-5 - Saban
-6 - Erhardt
-11 - Rush
-12 - Mazur
-14 - Rust
-16 - MacPherson

Look that list over and think about it. That covers all patriots history. Has there ever been something so dominatingly better than what ever came before it? Babe Ruth maybe. This is truly historic for the Patriots.

BB has 3 Patriots Super Bowl rings.

Where did ESPN get that photo of him smiling and flashing the rings last night? That was priceless!

That was great!
I have seen that picture in other places though.

BB is da man!

Last night the Patriots essentially ceded the running game to the powerhouse Minnesota run defense, working out of pass-first spread formations

And their RBs averaged over 6.5 YPC.

A stat I like 10.4 PPG allowed by our defense.

Rushing defense = 3.4 YPC / 78.3 YPG

4 Passing TD's allowed thus far and all of them were do to poor tackling in back to back games.

It's from the Espy Awards last year (or two years ago)
